Our Christmas

We had such a great Christmas. The girls didn't bother the tree nor the presents underneath. If fact, on Christmas day, I tried to get the girls all excited about seeing what was under the tree for them. After eating their breakfast, I got them down, they ran into the living room, right past the Christmas tree straight to the front door, looking out side saying "tree, tree." Then they turned around and didn't even acknowledge the fact that there were gifts under the tree! After a few minutes of coaching them on what to do, they got the hang of it, opened gifts and had a great time.

Now we are off to Arkansas to visit family for a couple of weeks. We are excited about the visit and so glad that Rob's parents will be joining us for a week!!!!

Girls 1st Haircut

My heart was broken this month when I had to break down and cut Emma and Madison's hair.

In my mind, I knew it needed to be done, but my heart didn't want to do it. Emma had so many split ends that I couldn't take it anymore and had to cut nearly 2 inches off in some areas because of how her hair had grown out. I must say, it looks a lot healthier and doesn't frizz as much from all those split ends.

Madison's was not nearly has bad as Emma's, but it was uneven and it looks so much better trimmed up. Thanks to Elmo and Sesame Street, the girls sat so still and didn't move at all. They were sooooo good!

The girls just love the Christmas lights and get excited every time the lights are turned on. Madison was so happy one night that she pulled her chair up to the door to sit and watch them, then Emma had to do the same.

The girls really like to watch It's A Big Big World. At the end of the show, they always have to give Snook a high five and then they wave bye bye to him. Our TV is full of little hand prints all over the bottom right side. ha ha.

Emma being the brave one. She's always so cautions. I guess the carefully climbed up and was thrilled of her accomplishment! Next she'll be climbing up and jumping off!

Halloween & Michigan

The girls are awake now, so this is all I can post for now. I'm almost caught up. I only want to post about 10 more pictures and then I'm through until the next month! Now I can't speak for Rob. He's getting more addicted to this than me. Ha ha. He's helped with posting the others but right now, he's taking his last final for the semester!!!! We just took a picture of the girls last night that's not even downloaded onto the computer and he said, "We've got to post that picture right now!" But we didn't. Maybe later.

First trick or treat. And boy, was it cold!

So we ended up having to cover the girls face. They didn't mind, because under that cover was a lot of candy for them to explore!

Sooo sweet! They do love each other!

. . . but not this time. Madison is not happy about sharing her sit & spin!

But reading a book is a great idea!

And sharing daddy's blanket. . . well we had to work on that one. Emma wanted to sleep with it, Madison decided she wanted it also. I tried to get them to share since daddy only had one blanket. I leave the room & then Emma started screaming so I go check on them. Madison had taken the blanket away from Emma and wadded it all up under her belly & laid on it so Emma could not have it! Finally I talked them into sharing the blanket and this is how they went to sleep! What a peaceful ending!

Niagra Falls Vacation

Well, once again, this was a very nice trip. This was part of our tour this summer that was taken the beginning of June. We had a blast here and it was so beautiful! Charlotte asked me to post some pictures. We took so many that it was hard to choose which ones to post. I chose mostly scenic this time around.

This picture is a little blurring, but so cute! Poor Dakota was the only boy, but hung in there well. This was our first night at Niagara Falls and we were suppose to be at another hotel. They were booked and sent us to this hotel that had this heart jacuzzi. So funny, but came in handy. Those pressure jets worked wonders on feet after walking so much!

We went on a boat like this up close to the falls. It was soooo neat!

Madison & Emma. . . they are such good babies! We had a 2 week trip and they never cried. I think they enjoyed the trip better than me!

The girls really liked the tv screens on the floor & played here for about 30 minutes. What a nice break from the stroller!

Our Washington D.C. Trip

Washington D.C. was a very fun, exciting, educational, stressfull, tiring trip. We spent about a week there the 2nd week of June, and after that, I was ready to come home. Here's some pictures of the crew that was able to go.

My First Blog -- Rob

Well, we're trying to get a picture under the profile area. Until then, we'll at least put a current one up of the family for all to see. This picture was taken at Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C. If you know history you know what happened here. As a matter of fact, you can see the area where it happened directly above us. This was one of the many places we stopped during the Montgomery World Tour of 2006. Actually, we went to 4 places in the space of two weeks: Cedar Point, Niagara Falls, Gettysburg, and Washington, D.C. We went with: Wayne (Amy's brother), Charlotte, Emily, Dakota, Shane (Charlotte's brother), Angie, Taylor, and Torrie. It was an awesome time and we were sure tired when it was all over. We'll definitely post some pictures from this vacation!!!

I've Joined Blog World!

Hello everyone! I've joined blog world and I have no idea what I'm doing! This is a learning experience for me and thought it would be much nicer than ringo. I just wasn't enjoying all the ads on that sight. I must say, I'm not a creative writer, nor am I good at proper English, but informative I can be. My post will probably be short and few, but I would like to post pictures more than anything. I'm going to play around with this site and see what I can do!
