I been sick a lot the past 2 1/2 weeks. Not just "morning sickness" but also running a fever. Some days are worse than others. I'm just ready to feel better!

Kaylee is into this stage of wanting to learn how to feed herself. She still doesn't have her jaw teeth in well and she doesn't like veggies, so I thought, let me blend some soup up for her to eat with a spoon. The spoon lasted for about 2 tries and then the hand went in for the rest. I don't think she really ate a whole lot of it, just mainly played with the the food. Needless to say, I had a huge mess to clean up and wall to scrub! But doesn't it look like she had fun?

Along with wanting to learn how to feed herself, we cannot feed her baby food very often without her help. As you can see, her hand is on the spoon too. As long as she's helping, all is well.

Night before last, Rob got out the shark tent that was intended for a Christmas gift. Needless to say, we forgot about it. Rob couldn't wait til their birthday to give it to them, so out it came and in the floor it went. The girls loved laying in the tent while watching their movies.

And it finally happened! We got some white stuff! Can you see the white specks? Well, for this picture, good thing I took it when I did. 3 minutes later, it was finished snowing! We got a little bit of everything. First some freezing drizzle and rain, about 1/4" that made everything nice and slick then it sleeted all night long and the next day that gave us about 1". It finished up with few flakes that fell. We asked Ben and Tabby to come stay with us since we were pretty sure the guys didn't have to be at work the next day. So they did.

Since we were iced in for my birthday, we played outside in the "snow." Madison woke up and looked outside. She came back running into our bedroom so happy. "Mommy! Mommy! Get up and come look! It SNOWED! Now I can go outside and make a snow angel like this... (she lays in the floor to show me how). And it will be fun!" Okay, okay, I told her, she could go outside. Last year, we didn't get his chance. We only got flurries all year long. The girls have waited so long to play in the snow. So, each time I told her to be careful cause the sleet was slick, Madison was quick to correct me that it was snow.
We got the disc down so they could slide and what fun they had! Needless to say, I had morning sickness nearly all day long!
Tabby made me a sugar free strawberry cheesecake! My special cake was delicious, the girls even liked it!
Kaylee sliding with her daddy. This is her first winter out and she LOVES it! She cried when we came back inside, but it was way to cold for her to be out any longer.
The girls sliding by themsleves down the driveway.
Here they are trying to scoot themsleves to the steeper part.
Tabby pulled Kaylee for a little while and she was loving it.
Madison trying to make her snow angel in the sleet. ;)She got up and said, "Let me try again, it didn't work very well."
This was the first thing she did once she got outside.
Emma drawing in the ice. It's been warmer today, so I let the girls go out and play. I really didn't want to go out since I'm sick to my stomach again, but Kaylee cried so hard and I thought, I might as well let her play for a little while, when will she get this chance again. Needless to say, I was VERY sick once I came back inside, but she enjoyed being outside very much. All the kids did. I gave the girls a bucket and shovel and they stayed busy for a while putting snow into their buckets.
My family in AR is without electricity. They have nearly 2" of ice. I can only imagine that that area looks like what OK looked like last year. My brother got trapped while trying to get home with trees down across the road. He didn't make it home, so he spent the night with church members. If he sends me pictures, I'll post some. Needless to say, they are suppose to be without electric for 2 weeks.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Glad you all got some white stuff. And that you have power. I know a bunch of people in Ark. are out of power. Derek got a call from friends asking if he would come give them power. Your girls are so pretty. Still praying that the sickness will go away.
Still praying for your nausea to go away too. The girls look like they are having a blast and the pictures of them dressed alike is so cute. BTW...Happy belated Birthday...did you get your Sonic?
I would follow your blog too but I can't find the link to do so.
Sis. Tammi, did you try to click on the "follow this blog?" Other than that, I've had copy and paste the blog address into my profile section of blogs I follow then I just learned that I have to edit on my blog page the blogs I'm watching. Seems like there should be a better way.
I did get my Sonic cheese sticks and they were good! One of the few things that the baby is liking.
"Follow This Blog" wasn't showing up when I came to your blog page. I didn't realize that I could add it from my dashboard until you mentioned it, so now I've got it done. Thanks for letting me know that I could do it that way.
Cheesesticks huh?! Well, at least it is dairy. Although, a #1cheeseburger and a coke sounds pretty good to me. ~grin~
Soon, you can have your #1 cheeseburger, although, they have done away the the #1 & #2. Now, it's just a hamburger with cheese & whatever you want on it. Sonic's changed so much!
your guys are adorable!... i cringed when i saw the mess kaylee made. you're a better mom than i am cause i totally couldn't handle that. haha.
Yeah, I know that all I have to do is order a cheesburger with mustard now rather than keeping the differences between a #1 and a #2 filed in my memory banks. ~grin~ Although...now that I see that in writing...I'm glad that they did away with the numbers because it sounds like a conversation that you would have with a two year old regarding the bathroom. UGH!
I love the expression on Rob's face as he was feeding Kailee? Kaylee? I can't remember how to spell it. I agree with Erika...you are awesome to be able to handle messes like that.
Tammi - lol about sonic. my mom still orders #1 or #2's and she lives in the same town a sonic is in. KAYLEE- it's spelled. I don't remember how to spell names either. I think I spelled yours with a y for many years.
And to both you and Erika, I'm not really good with messes. My heart sunk when I saw it all over the wall. I try so hard to correct my children, even at Kaylee's age, to not make messes!!! Totally don't like cleaning it up! ;)
The girls look so cute and pretty wearing those flowery matching dresses!
That tent looks like alot of fun. :)
Kids love that kind of thing.
How fun to have gotten some snow! It is so much fun to play in, especially if you don't get it often.
just wanted to let you know that i FINALLY got to look at your pictures! miss you guys! :)
